Kick! Punch! Block!

So, ah, after 90 hours of gameplay I thought I’d try and learn how to block in Dissidia.

Holy fuck, guys!

It totally changes the way I play characters like Cloud and Tina. Before hand I use to kind of attempt to plough through any defence using Firion’s Weaponsmaster technique and just take any hits on the nose… but playing as Cloud or Tina and with the versitality of employing Aerial Recovery in this way really changes everything for me. Already Cloud is Rank C and Tina is Rank B. There may be hope that Firion can go back up from E to C yet!!

So, we have ascertained that On the Way to a Smile: Case of Denzel can make me cry in animated form, just as much as it does in prose…

VIII vs. VI

Not that I’m obsessively trying to create a diary of how many times I take out my spiteful revenge on Kefka following the events of Final Fantasy VI. Nuuuu ~.

II vs. VI

A battle with very little finnese, memorable for me solely because of what a pain Kefka was during “VI” and for how easily Firion (Lv. 14) manages to beat him here.

On a related note, I think Firion might be favourite character in this game (gameplay wise).
